My family says I am an optimist because I tend to see the positive aspects of life. I also see adversity as an opportunity for personal growth and recognize that a positive attitude has the potential to be a help to others.

I try to follow the golden rule because the kindness that we show others is often returned. It is true that a positive word goes a country mile, and I often find myself rooting for the underdog in any type of contest situation.

I must admit that I am a hopeless romantic. In my eyes heaven is missing an angel, and her name is Julie. She is my wife. My children, Jaelyn, Kenneth, and Joel are proof that miracles do come true. They are the light of my life.

I strive to be humble and to always recognize the source of my blessings. It is also important for me to carefully choose what goes into my mind and body in order to keep myself healthy, both physically and spiritually.

My personal dreams and goals govern my life, and I continuously see them both coming true. I wish the same for all. I believe that we live in the greatest country and at the most wonderful time possible. I want to be a part of that goodness.

In closing, someone once said' "Find something you like to do and you'll never work a day in your life." It is true. I love what I do.
